Best Supporting Actress: Jennifer Lawrence

The first couple of scenes were really funny, I thought; after that, it reached the voice-over part and, TO ME, it felt like a second rate Goodfellas. There are good scenes throughout the film (the science oven, the Bradley Cooper & mother scene) and by no coincidence those happen to be the most David O. Russell scenes, with that directing style of his that I much admired in previous efforts. Otherwise, there's some attempt of Scorsese that just doesn't feel authentic.

Screw the SAG ensemble win, I can't get behind the acting nominations: Cooper annoys me, Amy's overrated, Bale is good but not that good, and Jennifer... she's completely lost in some of the scenes, improvising at its silliest, often worst.

My rating for the film: 6/10.
